I was thinking today that it is time to get back into this blogging! I think I will start with some updating! So here it goes.<br /><br />We have been back in California for a little over a year now. We loved living in Hawaii but the VOG was making Coral and the rest of the family sick. So we packed up and moved back to Cali. We are now waiting for our 6th baby. And yes this one is a Boy!! This will be a big change from a house of 5 girls.<br /><br />We still fill our days with homeschooling, Church and whatever family fun we can. Life here in California is a much faster pace and we find that after living in Hawaii it can be hard to keep up. Really we don't want to keep up. We try to live our slower relaxed life here!<br /><br />Wayne is still working as an HVAC tech. He has also started Bee keeping. That has been exciting and something he is enjoying. We will be selling honey and Bees wax ect... soon hopefully.<br /><br />The girls are healthy and growing fast. I have 2 more years before Courtney and Caitlin Graduate high school. and next year Candice will start High school, this year Coral starts <span style="color:#ffff00;">K</span>, so we are very busy.<br /><br />So there you go all updated! I will be trying to post more now that we are a bit setteled now!<br />Hope you will stop by and say hi!!sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04910855717881467420noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3316837257158302720.post-38693651222446264152009-09-08T10:55:00.004-10:002009-09-08T11:39:42.487-10:00Apple picking is for next weekend! This weekend didn't go as I had planned. And I need to tell you that I don't like it when plans don't work out. But it wasn't a total bust. After church on Sunday we went to the beach as a family. What did we see???....<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrrDRe_NOEJ-1NZvPBXx9kPCejAh7aOpm5IKT5X8oDrzeRCIZ0460JTF8IwH1JurJjm2XexWjO5b4UwjxP8Hz659H3kWnBxuZ89VfYfqsIFO6-va2mqT-NpOgGVWdRXl300mCf8aybJ04/s1600-h/MOMS+PICTURES+058.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379209465329899042" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrrDRe_NOEJ-1NZvPBXx9kPCejAh7aOpm5IKT5X8oDrzeRCIZ0460JTF8IwH1JurJjm2XexWjO5b4UwjxP8Hz659H3kWnBxuZ89VfYfqsIFO6-va2mqT-NpOgGVWdRXl300mCf8aybJ04/s320/MOMS+PICTURES+058.JPG" border="0" /></a> Well, In the water there you can see a fin, it is the fin of a ray, not a manta, we are still looking into what kind it was. While Wayne and i were snorkeling one came right next to us, and we saw 2 more in another spot close by. Yes, it did freak me out a bit, But it is still cool to see all the things God has created!<br /><div> </div><div> </div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTC0AxqXwtP0B3VyJtiRgkXohvP3uyBo3nVnInmqSqB2K1dhU41SafAArG4biP3iwjhVUwuNM3BiSO9sx2ZeTh7xZbvVDtfrS1SkdXLXPEmdIbXqOpBFvzZE9PFWajizuX-qwQDpnf3iY/s1600-h/MOMS+PICTURES+053.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379209458801236066" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTC0AxqXwtP0B3VyJtiRgkXohvP3uyBo3nVnInmqSqB2K1dhU41SafAArG4biP3iwjhVUwuNM3BiSO9sx2ZeTh7xZbvVDtfrS1SkdXLXPEmdIbXqOpBFvzZE9PFWajizuX-qwQDpnf3iY/s320/MOMS+PICTURES+053.JPG" border="0" /></a> Here Chloe was eating the rocks on the beach. So I am now making stuff with bees wax in it. The honey and wax I am using is made here in Hawaii by Hawaiian bees themselves. Imagine that! from what I understand the wax and honey made here in Hawaii is desired all over the world. Hawaii ships thousands of pounds of honey everywhere! Anyway all this to tell you I am giving away 3 tubes of my Hawaiian beeswax lip balm that I made myself and am going to be listing on my Etsy store. So if you would like to win 3 lip balms from Hawaii just leave me a comment and I will be picking a winner at random on Friday September 7th. </div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>Whats in the lip balm you ask? Pure beeswax, vitamin e oil, sweet almond oil, Jojoba oil, and one of three essential oils (tangerine oil, spearmint oil, or Candy cane oil) That it! all Natural! Then I placed them n nice little blue lip balm Tubes.</div><div> </div><div>I will also be selling pure Hawaiian bees wax for your own crafting needs at my etsy store! Everyone is growing and having fun living here in Hawaii. We do love living here even though we miss family greatly. And we admit we have talked about moving back to the mainland, but tha fact is we can't imagine leaving Hawaii! So here we stay.<br />We still home school the girls and have been very busy with that, and love it. Song!!I have a new favorite song. If you know me at all you know that music is just a part of who I am. A friend of mine told me of this song by Brandon Heath. It is called Give me your eyes. If you get a chance you need to here it. Very good song! It is taking about asking the Lord to give him Gods eyes to see people the way the God sees the people. I am now 34 weeks along and still trying to keep up with everyday life along with getting ready for the holidays! Can I just say that I am very tired? Here it goes:</div><div> </div><div> </div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271696565780050818" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOH60AOSdi2Em5qBTotv0ImA-ojPxHKiti6XruD7A_p3MWFx8ueftEb9UPgu9AXAicX_DKKnFGU3n_OzMmoUeGjvEp-0kTm5MI4rUOV65bu5XFKKPoYIlMgFd_dXVWiNNgutTbDV1tueo/s320/aprons,quilt+and+stuff+015.JPG" border="0" /></div><div>Here is what my kitchen table is looking like lately, My kids are missing dinners at the table we have resorted to eating in the living room for this short time!</div><div> </div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh473nQRYQLAU7gs89NxVgojs8ZdvrcpSrFMToXH4i3Q0cbwMREVPsr7AKzF6eRlZd9S2TxZW_Ci5qqdYSq78jqjWI97UuypjlH6X1n7SvqASme4xjbn5hwwcOxSj_b404hyphenhyphenmLyFAL7NhI/s1600-h/aprons,quilt+and+stuff+022.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271696582498869762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh473nQRYQLAU7gs89NxVgojs8ZdvrcpSrFMToXH4i3Q0cbwMREVPsr7AKzF6eRlZd9S2TxZW_Ci5qqdYSq78jqjWI97UuypjlH6X1n7SvqASme4xjbn5hwwcOxSj_b404hyphenhyphenmLyFAL7NhI/s320/aprons,quilt+and+stuff+022.JPG" border="0" /></a> So here are a couple of sets of pot holders and kitchen towels that I have been working with my girls to make for Christmas gifts. This is so easy and fun to do, I am even teaching my sewing class how to make them. I have <a href="http://ihavetosay.typepad.com/randi/">Randi</a> over at <a href="http://ihavetosay.typepad.com/randi/">I Have To say </a>for this crafty set, she has tutorial on her site on how to make these. You should check it out.( Hey Randi the same towels are almost $4.00 for the two here in Hawaii, can you believe it?)<br /></div><div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhH6-YwH8cBLvmxe7xZVcdmj_Olwm3U7q4X1ZfMqfBQ86aoEk7raxYoUqEJS64IgV7CoX8voFI195FL2tWykrm5fzjwmby_MxWgmDbR7EKDJ6_wm3XrTk38mc627KSzY9INMZYNuLpaVfk/s1600-h/aprons,quilt+and+stuff+020.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271696573279631874" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhH6-YwH8cBLvmxe7xZVcdmj_Olwm3U7q4X1ZfMqfBQ86aoEk7raxYoUqEJS64IgV7CoX8voFI195FL2tWykrm5fzjwmby_MxWgmDbR7EKDJ6_wm3XrTk38mc627KSzY9INMZYNuLpaVfk/s320/aprons,quilt+and+stuff+020.JPG" border="0" /></a> I also found these great aprons on <a href="http://ihavetosay.typepad.com/randi/">Randi's</a> site. I don't really think of myself as a great teacher, but i like to sew and I can show them how to do the basic stuff. I think it will be fun. It is important to show our young ladies the things that might be helpful when they are married and have families themselves. Plus it is a great skill to have. Not to mention the time spent with friends doing something productive.</p><p>What have you tought someone else lately? So I did and they wore them to!!! Their skirt is a little different in that they have a double layer of fabric to make it a bit puffy. It is one of the new style and I a surprised I figured out how to do it without a pattern! They chose all their own fabric from what I had at home, Caitlin is in the pink shirt and Candice is inside the church!<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcuPhkDKytGceXb4HZ60iq7pT_IlRI4aaiXL3AH2i3wUSSVYIiXz3NiuEvhrxoIxcGU5ZeRjOTwgTncrX8LY3PFmLpDee5Jq8aaCwgpmOqFWTOMZTJfSJiYuuTaJ23jEvt-irLF5QqTWs/s1600-h/new+cloths+010.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260888788062356354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcuPhkDKytGceXb4HZ60iq7pT_IlRI4aaiXL3AH2i3wUSSVYIiXz3NiuEvhrxoIxcGU5ZeRjOTwgTncrX8LY3PFmLpDee5Jq8aaCwgpmOqFWTOMZTJfSJiYuuTaJ23jEvt-irLF5QqTWs/s320/new+cloths+010.JPG" border="0" /></a> Here is the second on I made for Coral. In this skirt I used more fabric so it gathered more. It turned out very nice, and she liked the fact that her sisters had homemade skirts to. They all wore them to church on Wednesday night.<br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLttYHfjvcp9I751nVtiv8BT3t4daBGv33iuH14RkYe3LhxUx-PGRkU4qe4WoHP2CyPC5wAdJbCCrXlhq9SR6j5KScNcFysDvu4gO7t3lC_dIYM4M5EifyAtYLfrHgLFnT0ZS9tqodOdA/s1600-h/new+cloths+001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260888784744619234" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLttYHfjvcp9I751nVtiv8BT3t4daBGv33iuH14RkYe3LhxUx-PGRkU4qe4WoHP2CyPC5wAdJbCCrXlhq9SR6j5KScNcFysDvu4gO7t3lC_dIYM4M5EifyAtYLfrHgLFnT0ZS9tqodOdA/s320/new+cloths+001.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Have fun sewing! </div><div>Aloha!<br /><br /><div></div></div></div>sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04910855717881467420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3316837257158302720.post-65436009825053309692008-10-24T08:57:00.003-10:002008-10-24T08:59:44.558-10:00The final day to comment!<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir3BBgkjki_x-6dLTfqKatezm3EAlP1BU-7Rubu0kNzjGZRKEUIgBGCMx1aJw_cfK1lO1k47txm1nvtQYKUV5BERLCZIwbMBA9IA8gXnQ_ia-9qmOeeCuhoRdhazCA3tVfLrXtHWiTTaY/s1600-h/back+pack+giveaway+003.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5260796787882316162" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 300px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir3BBgkjki_x-6dLTfqKatezm3EAlP1BU-7Rubu0kNzjGZRKEUIgBGCMx1aJw_cfK1lO1k47txm1nvtQYKUV5BERLCZIwbMBA9IA8gXnQ_ia-9qmOeeCuhoRdhazCA3tVfLrXtHWiTTaY/s400/back+pack+giveaway+003.JPG" border="0" /></a> Today is the last day for a chance to win this bag! so don't forget to leave me a comment!<br />Good Luck!<br /><br />Aloha!sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04910855717881467420noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3316837257158302720.post-29646075130111212442008-10-20T16:06:00.007-10:002008-10-20T17:25:47.138-10:00My First Homemade Pattern!I tried it and it turned out! My first homemade pattern So I thought I could share it with you!It is supper easy but I am glad I did it! I will do my best to explain step by step. I hope it will work for you as well. This is sized to fit my almost 2 year old so adjust if needed! Here it goes:<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYyPMMw7ZMKEVR5i3CqCpQn5atCw1q-7sQ9b5-ZzlyQ0wTj_6k_KjpiCAymF6DeSBqSB1acH5zbxi6ehZKGm0mRe7lg7YJlytUnXbaJkBpoA9fEeZwnlEIXzG22kgRAMFHxHQ6Ema_2mU/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259439214838346930" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYyPMMw7ZMKEVR5i3CqCpQn5atCw1q-7sQ9b5-ZzlyQ0wTj_6k_KjpiCAymF6DeSBqSB1acH5zbxi6ehZKGm0mRe7lg7YJlytUnXbaJkBpoA9fEeZwnlEIXzG22kgRAMFHxHQ6Ema_2mU/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+001.JPG" border="0" /></a> I sewed everything at a ¼ inch unless I tell you otherwise in the pattern.<br />First you need to cut 2 waist band pieces at 11 inches long by 6 inches wide.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCsKXIUImqcezGaZcAVLNSngIemHfttr3oKYpjTWXgfjQbhVY9XWxFd62iAhpl59sQVLl7mwLCl6c5WtBIxaMu4GCTG8COFbihmqp2PaQAdwMn76vsbaD4-Y7HWiQWn3wms8nU7toBv10/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259439215306944914" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCsKXIUImqcezGaZcAVLNSngIemHfttr3oKYpjTWXgfjQbhVY9XWxFd62iAhpl59sQVLl7mwLCl6c5WtBIxaMu4GCTG8COFbihmqp2PaQAdwMn76vsbaD4-Y7HWiQWn3wms8nU7toBv10/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+002.JPG" border="0" /></a> Then you will need to cut The bottom parts of the skirt into 8 strips of 13 inches long by 5 inches wide. You will need 2 strips of each color you want to equal 8 strips, ( you may cut more strips for a fuller skirt if you would like).<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg948Sr6T7cB5h_eDLbEZ2BdgCJp2I57dVB3uswtwG1qIhcP6wfLYZBvrOKy9zR5sC-2kHIoRQs4HNWxz8j1YfWWfzLAT-q349BfR8_FkZbm3Gvpp-mmpNtbkcJOi4J9t8dVRay-qiHjs8/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+003.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259439216441786146" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg948Sr6T7cB5h_eDLbEZ2BdgCJp2I57dVB3uswtwG1qIhcP6wfLYZBvrOKy9zR5sC-2kHIoRQs4HNWxz8j1YfWWfzLAT-q349BfR8_FkZbm3Gvpp-mmpNtbkcJOi4J9t8dVRay-qiHjs8/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+003.JPG" border="0" /></a> Then sew the strips together alternating colors right sides together until all are sewn together like shown here.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuqEGq-zKvBhcLyPstowoALu4wTD7r66MnV8UUNNDzNM9xe_0K03MuijUciJ12Dcc16mRIrfFdpaOhjEVYdPd2-1HYIBDJEi6bO9QzPwnpsLkrMVf_iQL8VaCiFPQpe-qHXDEg3IVn27g/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+004.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259439222844135954" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuqEGq-zKvBhcLyPstowoALu4wTD7r66MnV8UUNNDzNM9xe_0K03MuijUciJ12Dcc16mRIrfFdpaOhjEVYdPd2-1HYIBDJEi6bO9QzPwnpsLkrMVf_iQL8VaCiFPQpe-qHXDEg3IVn27g/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+004.JPG" border="0" /></a> Then taking the waist band pieces sew the two sides together at short ends like shown here.<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXAHnm5xECnpgBklGzjoaedSobJdnLBPcgc2-7zIl10ku77g4qL7F4zbDUu1F_6czmAhry3jlpTtl5MFsdo-PkULAPe8p8aJHM_dUCcEAQM1u9kgnvG5vZIGwZcWDQSSd_8gjDXzWIVT0/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+006.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259438844138348738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXAHnm5xECnpgBklGzjoaedSobJdnLBPcgc2-7zIl10ku77g4qL7F4zbDUu1F_6czmAhry3jlpTtl5MFsdo-PkULAPe8p8aJHM_dUCcEAQM1u9kgnvG5vZIGwZcWDQSSd_8gjDXzWIVT0/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+006.JPG" border="0" /></a> Then back to the bottom of skirt sew a line at the top for your gather. Then making sure your elastic is at the top of your waist band sew just under the elastic that is inside your waist band to make your casing, again making sure your thread matches and that you do not catch the elastic. you want it to move freely!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxwztBXsN_I7WPuTgyo9041l4ZGB7Cjk967BwbOqL2DTxiV_py77ubARRCUxcyG-ShkpDuJhLSOO85d5nMdBw4HRsVr9Ee_In3Mcmgl2Y1AjI_Bu2hxCm2OwQ70owUPgjEFILIGFDIR00/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+012.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259438483955895666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxwztBXsN_I7WPuTgyo9041l4ZGB7Cjk967BwbOqL2DTxiV_py77ubARRCUxcyG-ShkpDuJhLSOO85d5nMdBw4HRsVr9Ee_In3Mcmgl2Y1AjI_Bu2hxCm2OwQ70owUPgjEFILIGFDIR00/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+012.JPG" border="0" /></a> Now finish the bottom of your skirt by folding twice to fit the length you want for your child, For Coral I folded it at 1 inch two times, and that will give you a finished look at the bottom.<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf_ZwilEEDF6D5f46ZTHdLyCNCjGRIVwB1WxSPI026QG4-cqDFAoZdiYEVpHXVpKfKcjHLjlLJ2W9ey0n12_0eDDkUzz3vC-jtecdabk-dzXPCUtex989R0GeFq2iS5d4IUE7s0ZlUGQs/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+013.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259438487309449570" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjf_ZwilEEDF6D5f46ZTHdLyCNCjGRIVwB1WxSPI026QG4-cqDFAoZdiYEVpHXVpKfKcjHLjlLJ2W9ey0n12_0eDDkUzz3vC-jtecdabk-dzXPCUtex989R0GeFq2iS5d4IUE7s0ZlUGQs/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+013.JPG" border="0" /></a> And hopefully yours will look like this when you are done<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPcekEjBLSSzIowUyELXB_ZC2GuxqFG5rgfzGiw4veMWyJ8LfJDUDJWJeaQCw9VVNncDWXFpeBbLLFIhDuGoWPXsMI1p55Iah2tWE2UbRw4fBeM_iFCn749jZ0ng_qNqkxtJ55-DnNLsQ/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+014.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259438489084664802" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPcekEjBLSSzIowUyELXB_ZC2GuxqFG5rgfzGiw4veMWyJ8LfJDUDJWJeaQCw9VVNncDWXFpeBbLLFIhDuGoWPXsMI1p55Iah2tWE2UbRw4fBeM_iFCn749jZ0ng_qNqkxtJ55-DnNLsQ/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+014.JPG" border="0" /></a> Coral loved it and it fit her great!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjPzCzOm0lHTq9XFezYf6hshA_nNiUnG29NiDFFYxTejpltXSavjMYpJB_MdhMNSUO1kZVOXmzmoQVREb0-VS5IE7hgEgI4KqKrGjkROp7yDOm2LaI2XKUm8iyLjVM1dqkrz-GXq5MC28/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+015.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259438496806820738" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjPzCzOm0lHTq9XFezYf6hshA_nNiUnG29NiDFFYxTejpltXSavjMYpJB_MdhMNSUO1kZVOXmzmoQVREb0-VS5IE7hgEgI4KqKrGjkROp7yDOm2LaI2XKUm8iyLjVM1dqkrz-GXq5MC28/s320/homemade+skirt+pattern+015.JPG" border="0" /></a> Let me know If you like the pattern and if you are able to make one yourself!<br /><br /><div>Aloha!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuMrNXKc26eXZxRO7EsVmzomCUnfi4zb29PX5pzdMYmixA8nKzxFXpQx6MBpmpmtKp8S4iZodRI-cYvzlStFDDNKUizXu3bXVHhRPJXWD7E2AApi08fQl6b4vh_eLkg-pI5B0hKE_5jrs/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+014.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix_E72V4aSKnPVlxkGH5HZG1FOILmgMH5Q835w-QkbtPqmARkhVase4VuVYXiyqx23wxuDg5CLGMLtPQbAhgzAqEejJdKvzUiL74PIM_3yTbrUu0SdOnP6E-BcECbdPnRCJ8Ty-s8_xJQ/s1600-h/homemade+skirt+pattern+012.JPG"></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div></div></div></div>sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04910855717881467420noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3316837257158302720.post-83219638657832793722008-10-20T12:48:00.004-10:002008-10-20T12:58:51.876-10:00I Did it!I did it, I canned apple sauce and apple butter! The last time I made anything to can was with <a href="http://ihavetosay.typepad.com/randi/">Randi</a> over at <a href="http://ihavetosay.typepad.com/randi/">I Have To Say</a>. and that was years ago we made jam and syrup together. That was so fun we got strawberry all over my kitchen( mostly my fault because Randi is a bit more tidy than I :) ) anyway I have never canned by myself and now I can say that I have done this and it turned out great. I hope to do more canning of other things in the near future! Maybe things from my own garden, like tomatoes or beans. I don't know we will just have to wait and find out.<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYG8yWFC998sA2CMNPYWTkZO0U2Lh4BWR3DehJiOGw32j7azKCoKfLrXumkGNN4joGb9vlNMfxvrlSf-4P2cp1M84_mmBwnsGowpaOOlreaXyKgYNgGyV7uu6AtLBdrO0e1p4oABzt4Ko/s1600-h/beach+and+apple+sauce+004.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259371959250124514" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYG8yWFC998sA2CMNPYWTkZO0U2Lh4BWR3DehJiOGw32j7azKCoKfLrXumkGNN4joGb9vlNMfxvrlSf-4P2cp1M84_mmBwnsGowpaOOlreaXyKgYNgGyV7uu6AtLBdrO0e1p4oABzt4Ko/s320/beach+and+apple+sauce+004.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><div></div>sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04910855717881467420noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3316837257158302720.post-56717277501677983962008-10-20T12:41:00.003-10:002008-10-20T12:48:03.775-10:00Beach Day is always fun!I love spending time with my family. We usually go to the beach on Sundays after church because we go to church in Kona. Kona is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours away so we take advantage of being there and hit the beaches. This makes for a great family day, and sometime our friends will join us. Candice and Wayne are plying in the sand here and coral woke up from a nap to find her sister head deep in the sand! She thought that was funny!<br /><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs_R-BbsqcolSq8CAUK4yPzrwq5w9L5NrqY_qdlDDJJoSOec17rxrev6reG6ptKRk5wI3uIkC7aODWeKC5g9W0Yy-PVqW-Dt1WksDBtG7Gkl-rt1Wwnc06so_RMMSF-Wh9Qu-qvYfE5W8/s1600-h/beach+and+apple+sauce+001.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259370235725588386" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhs_R-BbsqcolSq8CAUK4yPzrwq5w9L5NrqY_qdlDDJJoSOec17rxrev6reG6ptKRk5wI3uIkC7aODWeKC5g9W0Yy-PVqW-Dt1WksDBtG7Gkl-rt1Wwnc06so_RMMSF-Wh9Qu-qvYfE5W8/s320/beach+and+apple+sauce+001.JPG" border="0" /></a> Here is Candice's beautiful face!<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRxIfykkfhkQnE1VPjnuNlgl2MSABQUyrv8yuNO4yu3Lu2QW6ZGHd7NxAirCz6i1M82F_MlcjF33-FWamfnzJSTYCFEUTSekmWQB4V5Gc3zpN0VGRnzGg3F4jVCYvCAfCgloA0msOSaGs/s1600-h/beach+and+apple+sauce+002.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5259370250874547666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRxIfykkfhkQnE1VPjnuNlgl2MSABQUyrv8yuNO4yu3Lu2QW6ZGHd7NxAirCz6i1M82F_MlcjF33-FWamfnzJSTYCFEUTSekmWQB4V5Gc3zpN0VGRnzGg3F4jVCYvCAfCgloA0msOSaGs/s320/beach+and+apple+sauce+002.JPG" border="0" /></a> What do you like to do for fun?<br /><br />ALOHA till next time.<br /><div></div>sarahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04910855717881467420noreply@blogger.com0
